An East Yorkshire vehicle finance company is growing fast as customers benefit from a straight forward, simplified approach to fleet management. 
Automotive Funding Solutions (AFS) is an independent firm with offices in Beverley run by Chris Goodman and his team of vehicle leasing specialists. 
The company is shaking up the market with the launch of its free fleet management service, which could save some organisations up to £2,000 per month on the running costs of their vehicle fleet. 
Chris says: 
“This is a highly competitive industry and following an in-depth review of our service and that of our competitors, we saw an opportunity to further improve the customer experience. Some brokers are charging for services that we were offering for free. We see no reason to add unnecessary costs on to what is already a major investment and have now launched our free fleet management service.” 
“This new offering includes a huge range of services such as: regular mileage analysis of company fleets and accompanying mileage amendments if vehicles are over (or under) where we’d expect them to be, arranging contract extensions, provision of European travel documentation and accompanying advice, grey fleet support (for personally owned cars used in the business), short-term hire assistance, cherished plates, assistance with fines, early terminations, re-financing balloon rentals, vehicle collections, contract novations and transfers and, more.” 
“Overall, we are in contact with our clients on a regular basis to provide general advice. It really is annoying when our clients receive charges at the end of their contracts so we keep in touch throughout, asking customers to update us on changes as they occur. This helps us to manage and minimise costs on an ongoing basis rather than waiting until the contract ends.” 
“We know that removing surprises and unexpected bills from the leasing experience combined with exceptional service levels is the key to creating long-term relationships with clients. Because of this (along with word of mouth referrals from current clients), our business has experienced significant growth.” 
Chris is a Chartered Accountant and uses his knowledge and experience to provide advice on business taxation and the most cost-effective way to acquire vehicles, either through private or corporate routes. 
Members of the team include; Office Manager Holly and Administrator Emily who have all come through the national apprenticeship scheme.
