Our Building Surveyor, Peter Melling from Black Cat Services, provides both the Estates Maintenance and Estates Management at the Humber Enterprise Park.
In a recent 5 min presentation to the rest of the Kingstown Bevan team, he explained the origins of the site. It was founded in 1916 by the aviation pioneer Robert Blackburn to house his fledgling aerospace company Blackburn Aircraft Ltd.

He also explained that the site is today a multi let industrial/office based commercial concern called the Humber Enterprise Park. Our flagship tenant BAE Systems (Operations) ltd are still manufacturing aircraft components today, meaning that the site holds the record for being the longest continuous aircraft manufacturing facility in the world.

Peter went on to explain that there is 35,000sqft of office space available for rent in three different sizes. They have one 4,000sqft unit, two 5,000sqft units and five 6,000sqft units, with scope to reduce these in size if there is a definite commitment to lease.

The rents are around £8.50/sqft and a service charge of around £2.20sqft. For more details contact Peter on peter@blackcat-services.co.uk, ring the office to book a site visit on 01482 662181 or visit the website on http://www.humberenterprisepark.co.uk/
